Rev. Kathy Brown has been the Senior Pastor at St Paul’s United Methodist Church since 2018.
Additionally, we have several retired clergy that attend and lead as well.
How is St. Paul’s United Methodist Church different than other churches?
SPUMC has been located in the heart of the Tulsa, Ok for over 100 years, at the corner of 15th street and Peoria. We are an inclusive community of faith and welcome ALL to worship. There’s a place for you here, and we look forward to finding ways to include you in our ministry.
What can I expect on the weekends?
We have worship services on Sundays which is live streamed on our website as well as on facebook at fb.com/stpaulstulsa. Our service is classic in style (choir, hymns, organ). If you’d like to check out some of our latest past services, click here to view our Sunday Worship Service Video Library.
What are the worship services like?
Our service has a classic feel with a contemporary message. Although our style of worship can see described as traditional as much of what we do is steeped in tradition, we base our understanding of scripture on the research and teaching of those who are studying it in the context of today’s world.
St. Paul’s sees attendees wearing everything from shorts all the way to dress slacks and a button-up shirt.
What is most important is that you come ready to be and share in the amazing love and abundant grace of God.
Will I really be accepted here?
Yes! Our hearts, minds, and doors are open to all, regardless of age,
race, ethnicity, marital status, gender identity, social class, sexual
orientation, physical or mental ability. ALL are welcome.
What will my kids do during church?
During our services, there is a children’s moment which includes a lesson that ties in with the service. Afterwards, the children are guided downstairs to the Children’s Space where they will participate in a lesson relating to the week’s theme.
On scheduled Sunday afternoons, Youth (6th-12th grade) are invited to attend out youth programing where they are work on mission projects, christian fellowship, and occasionally planned outings.
Among the ways to get involved include:
