Children of God, the Spirit of Christ calls us into freedom.

Let the reign of evil be cast away

Baptized into a new life, God leads us in the work of love that transforms.

Love confronts us.

    Love changes us.

Love enables us to leave behind what is deadly and deadening.

Through God’s grace, we come to perceive the possibilities of a world that is just.

Unsatisfied with all that suppresses life, we seek collective abundance.

Come, Holy Spirit, and build your world anew.

Holy Companion, you did not create life in abundance only to have it hoarded and destroyed. You did not gift us with creativity only for us to fear change, risk, or new ideas. You did not give us the ability to dream only to have us settle for what is. Come and renew our imaginations and excite us with your divine possibilities. Make our hopes bold and our efforts brave as we seek to live into the life of resurrection. Amen.
